How we found forever
2023
Her: I met him on my way to work on the first day of resumption. He entered the same ‘keke’ I was in and I was smitten by his aura, right there I knew I was going to make him mine. We came down in front of the office, and he didn’t have the complete T-fare, so I volunteered to pay for him.
Him: A colleague in the office told me about a new girl the company just hired, and I should check her out, I told him we entered the same ‘keke’ while coming to work. So, we had our usual Friday happy hour organized by the director, there she was beautiful and shy. I took interest immediately.

Early 2024
Nothing about us was hurried. What began as a workplace friendship kept deepening quietly - a message here, a birthday wish there, little moments that always found their way back to each other. Then came a company outing in March 2024, where one conversation flowed so easily it felt like we had never been apart.

Late 2024
Her: It started with a message he sent after my birthday. The message turned into a video call, and the call opened a door neither of us wanted to close. Before long our weekends belonged to each other, and the days apart began to feel too long. One evening after a hangout, he told me plainly what he believed: that everyone has their person, and he had found his in me. Hearing that settled something in me. I knew what it was to give love and not feel it returned the same way, so his certainty meant the world.
Him: I knew words alone would never be enough for her. So I chose patience, I chose calm, and I let my actions speak every single day until she never had to wonder.

2025 - Present
Friendship, patience, and peace - that is the ground we stand on. We did not drift into each other; we picked each other, deliberately, and we keep picking each other every day. Over two years on, we have learnt each other with calm and understanding. Nnamdi’s steady, easy nature keeps us balanced, and what we have built together is strong, safe, and rooted in real respect. Young as we are, we know exactly what we want - and we have found it in each other.

Forever
So after all the friendship, the growing, and the choosing, forever was the only answer left. We are stepping into the life ahead with open hearts - two people learning, stretching, and becoming better side by side. Ours is more than a romance. It is proof of friendship, of certainty, and of the quiet strength in choosing the same person every single morning.
